The fact that you so easily cuss out the "hybrid" technology that Porsche is using just shows how ignorant you are. Downvote for you.

Wow, I love the music, from which artist is it?

and where does the energy for making hydrogen come from? a coal power station..... and additional it needs much more energy to produce hydrogen, than producing normal electricity!

  • streetracerm5
    Fuck hybrids!

  • Goremaster
Yah. What he said. Electric Energy can be clean, it just needs, Wind, Solar, Geothermal energy to be so. Hydrogen on the other hand will always have that nasty separation anxiety process that uses up resources and requires transport. ! Ike !

  • oliroolz
lol yes but not on a large scale....your hardly going to power a car from the amount you make riding your bike... even the amount of people that cycle in holland wouldnt be enough!

  • TH0K00
not only from the coal power station, but u can make electricity while ur riding ur bike -.-

  • oliroolz
good point, but new processes are being worked on and obviously some new thing has to be found so what happens when fossil fuels run out and nuclear waste stockpiles become too big? well i guess its up to the scientist to work that out... but in the mean time...what about cows? they contribute to a THIRD of gases, so why dont we use their methane :D to power our cars... a bit smelly i know haha

  • 42ph
thats is mostly correct - but hydrogen is not the answer! hydrogen like to diffuse through tanks, its difficult to transport, dangerous if handled wrong, and VERY hard to get! to split water up into hydrogen and oxygen it takes up soooo much electrical power! and right now the majority of hydrogen is "harvested" off natural gas - during which a lot of CO2 is emmitted. so its not quite as simple is as it may sound!

  • oliroolz
yes but where does the electricity come from? OH YEA a coal power station..... what is the only thing that comes from hydrogen? water which there is/will be a world shortage of

  • oliroolz
in what way is electricity cleaner? it is only clean if it comes from a sustaianable energy source...which it almost never does (especially in america where it is aimed at) and it comes from a pollutiing coal, gas or nuclear factorty which may be a bit more efficient but its still polluting. Hydrogen can be made in a non polluting way, and then the only by product is water...so its providing fresh water to the world!

LOL... and people's been laughing about Hybrid before.... funny how people turn around and said it's cool now cause it's a porsche... once again proves my theory right.

  • koukiR32
perhaps there's more asian people buying these things. And I think it looks a million times better than the much dated current design before or after the facelift.

  • 12valvepower1
man i have seen it all now

  • EJ25RUN
Paul Ricard is brilliant. Bring F1 back there. Magny Cours has always been a toilet bowl.

I do like the old Cayenne more.. this one gives me a Japanese feeling, i don't know why :S

    song at 1:10?

  • Goremaster
@Porsche1080 I imagine Hydrogen, processing it, transporting it, it more than likely that you waste more energy making it than it's worth. I know in some places its like 3 cents a mile for electric. You don't need to transport electricity the same way as hydrogen. Personally I don't see the point in us building new infrastructure for Hydrogen when Electric power is as clean or cleaner. haha just my opinion though.

  • Porsche1080
@Goremaster which is more expensive. hydrogen or electric power?

  • 2007SHELBYGT500KR
    Electricity FTW!!!

  • Goremaster
I'd say Electric Cars are the future. Screw Hydrogen. We don't need more liquid fueling stations. Electric grids are already here. You don't need to transport electricity...or extract it from Natural Gas or other fuels like Hydrogen.

  • sgabriel
Hybrid cars done be the future?

  • brndn81
Hydrogen fuel cells are the future---we're not there yet though. Hybrids will work in the interim.

  • leoviper
    Hybrid cars is the future

  • Axelga2112
The new taillights of the cayenne looks cheap, but what ever 5*
